Renee passed away yesterday after suffering a stroke at her Tucson home on Sunday. She is survived by her mother, Martha Saltz, and her daughters, Lissette and Annice Kra. Renee will be missed by countless friends from Tucson and around the world. Her funeral will be private, but a memorial service will be held later this month in Tucson. I will post details as they become available. I will prepare an obituary for the next issue of Radiocarbon. Please contact me if you would like to contribute anything, or if you have any questions. Sincerely, Kim Elliott P.S.: Condolences may be sent to her family at 4801 N. Via Entrada, Tucson, AZ 85718 USA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent in Renee's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (https://www2.stjude.org/ways_to_help/make_a_donation/donate_now.cfm). ------------------------------ Kimberley Tanner Elliott RADIOCARBON Managing Editor Univ. of AZ, Dept. of Geosciences 4717 E. We even have the same length (pressure) you mentioned i.e 1800 mbar, up to the ceiling. We never found an alternative, giving us the accuracy available with Hg. We are still using the Hg-manometers today. Both Happy and Unhappy. (But I did manage to replace all the Hg-pumps !!).
