We are = seeking experts in 1) marine palaeoscience, 2) terrestrial palaeoscience and 3) statistics to contribute to the decision making process. The three = members of the IntCal Oversight Committee will be expected to attend a (1 =BD = day) meeting of the IOC members and the Belfast and Sheffield group at the University of Sheffield in summer 2009 and either a full IWG meeting in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, USA (date to be announced, dependent on = funding) or a second smaller meeting in Belfast in 2010 to allow the IOC to offer further advice on dataset acceptance and on the modeling of offsets and uncertainties for the IntCalX curve. The IOC members will be asked to contribute to a report of the meetings that will be made public. = Expenses to the meetings will be met in full with support from PAGES and funding = from NERC.
