Subject: South Asian Student Association

Description: The South Asian Student Association was founded in November of 2019 to promote awareness of the diverse South Asian Cultures and create unity among all of them. We felt that there should be a greater representation of South Asian Culture and want to host several events throughout the year to celebrate various holidays and festivals. South Asia primarily consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. However, we encourage everyone who is interested to become a member of the student association and participate in our events.
